Our Mission
The Unique Caring Foundation, Inc. mission is provide quality programs and services that will educate, assist, and prepare individuals with specialized needs to live and compete in the 21st Century global community.
We Provide FOSTER CARE PROGRAMS
Unique Caring Foundation's Foster Care Program provides recruitment, training, certification and retention services for foster care providers. Foster Care Homes provide temporary substitute care for children ages 0 through 18, who have been removed from their families due to neglect, the parent being unavailable, or physical, sexual or emotional abuse.
Foster parents offer day-to-day care and guidance until the child can be reunited with his or her birth family, moved to a kinship family or permanent adoptive home or emancipated. Caseworkers work closely with foster care parents to identify and meet the special needs of the child/children, who is/are in placement care.
We Provide Respite Services
Respite care is a service that provides periodic relief for the family or primary caregiver. This service may be provided in the individual's home or in an out-of-home setting. A caregiver is considered to be someone who resides full-time with the individual. However, respite cannot be provided when the individual is home for the purpose of a family visit.
We Provide Outpatient Services
The Unique Caring Foundation provides treatment of mental and emotional disorders through the use of psychological techniques designed to encourage communication of conflicts and insight into problems, with the goal being relief of symptoms, changes in behavior leading to improved social and vocational functioning, and personality growth. For your convenience Unique Caring Foundation offers services in the home and community by appointment only.
We Provide Outpatient Services
We are provide group home care and support for children who need more intensive care beyond traditional and specialized foster care. Our group homes cater to children who face behavioral, emotional, and educational deficits.
Get Involved
The Unique Caring Foundation offers holistic treatment programs that provide continuity when a client steps down into a less intensive level of care. Our ultimate goal is family preservation and person-centered planning.
Our individualized treatment facilities provide emergency care and long-term habilitation and rehabilitation - through the utilization of residential and outpatient treatment programs.
